This February, join us for a series of events exploring different political and creative approaches to climate activism.
We interview four people who have been pushing different boundaries of green thinking and giving us pause for thought. We'll be hearing from radio producer and DJ Zakia Sewell about her recent Radio 4 series My Albion, which explores her relationship with Britishness and landscape as a mixed-race Londoner through the songs, stories and symbols of British folk culture.
Moving to urban landscapes, Green party co-leader and London Mayoral Candidate Sîan Berry will give us her ideas about how to solve London's housing crisis while still reducing our use of carbon, while youth climate activist Scarlett Westbrook shares her experiences of using online spaces for campaigning. Finally, 2021 Eden Project resident artist Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg will talk about exploring synthetic biology, art that isn't for people, and the human impulse to 'better' the world.
